Trains, Art and the Temple

Todd and I took a little road trip on Saturday and made some fun stops along the way. Our first stop was at a train museum where they had old steam engines and cabooses from the 1800's.

Next we stopped at the L.A. temple.

After the temple we rode a tram up to the Getty Art museum. The museum was a beautiful building with wings and terraces connected by outdoor patios. The museum had everything from the 1500's to the present.  They had some pretty amazing stuff, including some famous European artists.

Todd got a little worn out

This was made from a single slat of wood.

Right next to a Degas (Thank you History of Creativity for letting me know what that means)
